One of the newest clubs in the hobby of Metal Detecting . We are located in Stamford CT the gateway to New England. The club at this point is at about 30 members and is open to all. Well, this year is going by quickly and we are certainly finding our share of items. I even managed to pick up a 1788 5-Kopek (A Russian Coin) off of a field here in Stamford, CT. I never realized that we had settlers from that area that early on in US History.  We are finding Reales, Buttons and many different things out there. We have to really thank some of our members for getting us hunt sites. At this time Peter Bondi and Roger Touhy they reay have stepped up to the plate with Home Runs this season! Also we would like to thank Mark Nolan and Pat Darinzo for fixing up the Historical Display that we presented to the owner of the  Dorrance / Weed Location. This is what our club is about. We share the History! And that is what makes us Nor'easters.
